SUMMARY:
WebLabs is seeking a Director of Information Technology to lead our IT department. The successful candidate will oversee the use of technology throughout the company, providing strategic guidance and technical leadership. As the Director of IT, you will work closely with decision-makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a customer service platform to serve the organization in every aspect.
- Manage the company's technology operations and the implementation of new IT systems and policies.
- Oversee the strategic direction, development, and future growth of functional areas and practices within the organization.
- Direct the development and possible implementation of policies in instances of a breach, also known as disaster recovery plans.
- Develop relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
- Analyze the costs, value, and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions.
- Collaborate with department heads and users to determine their technology needs.
- Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring system performance.
- Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems.
- Offer direction for IT team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Director of IT or similar managerial role.
- Experience in analysis, implementation, and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications.
- Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, etc.
- Experience in controlling information technology budget.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Outstanding communication abilities.
